Zangi does not have a public account search, so people cannot find you by your name, phone number, or email address. To connect with you, someone needs your Zangi Private Number.

People who add you as a contact using your Zangi Private Number, as well as people who are in the same Zangi group as you, can see your profile photo, first and last name, and bio.
Zangi’s closed architecture means that communication takes place through the official Zangi app within Zangi’s own system. It does not provide an open platform for outside bots, unofficial messaging apps or connections to other messaging networks. This limits the involvement of outside services in your conversations. Zangi also has no public user lookup. Only people who have your Zangi Private Number can find and contact you on Zangi. We recommend using Zangi to communicate with people you know and trust, such as friends, family and colleagues.
Your Zangi Private Number allows other people to contact you on Zangi. We recommend sharing it directly with people you know and trust, such as friends, family, and colleagues. Avoid posting your Zangi Private Number publicly on other platforms, such as social media profiles, comments, forums, or websites. If people you do not know get your Zangi Private Number, they may use it to send you unsolicited messages or share it with others.
Someone who has your Zangi Private Number can add you to a Zangi group as a member.
People who are in the same Zangi group as you can contact you directly and start a private conversation with you.
To block or report someone:
When you block someone, they can no longer send you direct messages or call you on Zangi. If you are in the same group, you can still see each other’s messages there. If you do not want to receive messages from that person in a shared group, you can leave the group.
When an account receives a certain number of reports, it is automatically removed from Zangi. The process is automatic and does not require a manual review of each report.
Your messages, files, media, voice calls, and video calls are protected with end-to-end encryption. Encryption is built into Zangi and works automatically. You do not need to enable it or change any settings. This means the content of your communication can only be accessed by you and the people you are communicating with.
Group chats and group calls on Zangi are fully encrypted.
Zangi does not store your messages on its servers. Messages are stored only on the devices of the sender and recipient. This means Zangi cannot read your messages or listen to your calls.
Zangi does not store your messages, calls, files, or media on its servers.
Once you send content to another person, they may be able to keep or share a copy of it. Zangi allows messages to be forwarded and shared media to be saved. A recipient may also be able to capture content using their device, for example by taking a screenshot or using another device to record it. End-to-end encryption protects your content while it is being communicated. It cannot control what the person receiving that content chooses to do with it afterward. For this reason, we recommend using Zangi to communicate with people you know and trust, such as friends, family, and colleagues.
Zangi collects limited information needed to operate and support the service. This may include optional profile information you choose to add, such as your name, surname, profile photo, and bio. Zangi also collects certain technical information, including your country code, push token, device ID, device type or model, operating system, and Zangi app version. Your phone contacts are not sent to Zangi servers, and your messages, calls, files, and media are not stored there. For more details, please see the Zangi Privacy Policy.
Zangi asks for device permissions when a feature needs access to information on your phone. For example, Contacts permission allows Zangi to copy your phone contacts locally into the Zangi Contacts section and use features such as Invite by SMS. Your contacts remain on your device and are not sent to Zangi servers. If you decline the permission, your phone contacts will not appear in the All Contacts section, but you can still use Zangi and communicate with Zangi contacts.
The person you report is not notified that you submitted a report.
